Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2025

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website (recruitbase.work) or using the RecruitBase enterprise evaluation service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or service.

Open-source framework: The AgentFit framework itself is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0, available at github.com/RecruitBase/agentfit. Use of the open-source code is governed by that license, not these Terms. These Terms apply to use of this website and any managed enterprise service offered by RecruitBase.

2. What RecruitBase Provides

RecruitBase builds and maintains AgentFit — an open-source, enterprise-grade AI agent evaluation and interpretability framework. It gives teams a structured, reproducible way to assess AI agents across seven behavioral dimensions against their specific business requirements.

In addition to the open-source framework, RecruitBase may offer a managed cloud evaluation service for enterprise customers. Where referenced below, “Service” means this managed offering. Use of the self-hosted open-source framework is governed exclusively by the Apache 2.0 license.

3. User Responsibilities

If you use this website or the managed Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating or managing an account
  • Keep your account credentials confidential
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Not engage in unauthorized access, data scraping, or misuse of the Service
  • Not upload malicious code or content that disrupts the Service
  • Use evaluation outputs — including agent scores, dimension breakdowns, and LLM interpretations — as decision-support tools alongside your own engineering and operational judgment
  • Ensure any AI agents you evaluate through the Service are ones you are authorized to test

4. Evaluation Data

When using the managed Service, you may submit Business Need Profiles (BNPs), agent interfaces, and evaluation scenarios. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the BNPs and scenarios you define
  • Evaluation results — including dimension scores, overall scores, and LLM interpretations — are decision-support outputs and should be treated as one input among many when making deployment decisions
  • You remain responsible for all decisions made about AI agent deployment, regardless of evaluation outputs
  • Evaluation records are immutable by design; the full calculation trail is preserved for auditability

5. LLM-Powered Interpretability

AgentFit's interpretability layer sends evaluation data — scores, sub-metrics, weights, and BNP context — to a Large Language Model of your choice to generate explanations and recommendations. You acknowledge that:

  • LLM-generated interpretations are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies
  • When using the self-hosted framework, you are responsible for your own LLM API keys and that provider's terms of service
  • RecruitBase does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any LLM-generated interpretation
  • You are solely responsible for how you act on interpretation outputs and recommendations

6. Audit Trail and Reproducibility

Evaluation records produced by AgentFit — including BNP definitions, dimension scores, sub-metric breakdowns, and interpretation outputs — are designed to be reproducible and immutable. In the managed Service, you agree not to attempt to falsify or manipulate stored evaluation records. Exported reports are point-in-time snapshots and are not retroactively updated.

7. Intellectual Property

The AgentFit framework is open-source software licensed under the Apache License 2.0 — you are free to use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license. The RecruitBase name, logo, website design, and managed Service infrastructure are proprietary to RecruitBase. BNP files, evaluation results, and reports you produce through your use of the framework or Service remain your property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecruitBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service or framework, including any reliance on agent scores, dimension breakdowns, or LLM-generated interpretations in deployment decisions.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RecruitBase from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or any deployment decisions you make based on evaluation outputs.

10. Service Availability

The managed Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The interpretability feature depends on third-party LLM provider uptime and may be temporarily unavailable. The self-hosted open-source framework is not subject to any availability guarantee from RecruitBase.

11. Termination

RecruitBase may terminate or suspend access to the managed Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to stored evaluation records and exports will be subject to our data retention policy as described in our Privacy Policy. Use of the open-source framework cannot be terminated as it is governed by the Apache 2.0 license.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or managed Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
